Purpose

How it Works

The product itself is the compensation

There is usually no obligation for the recipient to post, but many do if they like the product.

Example: A skincare brand sends a new product to beauty influencers. The influencers try the product and may share their thoughts with their followers.

• UGC is about fostering organic content from actual users, often without direct financial rewards, relying on the authenticity and trust of real customer experiences.

• Gifting involves giving products with the hope of gaining exposure, without guaranteed content in return.
